What it means to have Mono-, Uni-, or Multiculturalism in Australia

What it means to have Mono-, Uni-, or Multiculturalism in Australia

Tue, Oct 20, 8:00 AM
From Sydney Conservative Discussion & Social Group
4.8

Vinay Kolhatkar will be giving a short presentation on what it means to have Mono-, Uni-, or Multiculturalism, so we can all make up our own minds as to what’s best for us individually, and for Australia as a whole. There will be plenty of time for attendees to ask questions, make comments and interact. And please purchase a meal and/or drinks. After all this venue has been provided free by Shakespeare’s so that is the least we can do. Vinay is the author of the politically incorrect novels, *A Sharia London* and *The Frankenstein Candidate.* He is also a coauthor of Media Wars: The Battle to Shape Our Minds, and of *Modernizing Aristotle’s Ethics*, which was published by an academic press and sold to university libraries worldwide as a text for philosophy and psychology. His latest novel is Dreams of Orphans, which was released on 30th September. Until August 2026, he was the federal secretary and director of policy for the Libertarian Party and ran in two federal elections as their candidate. He is also an occasional columnist for *Spectator Australia*, where he likes to warn the western world of the incoming threat of neo-Marxism and their alliance with terrorist ideologies.

Greenups Spring. In The Garden

Greenups Spring. In The Garden

Wed, Oct 7, 6:00 AM
From GreenUps - Sydney's Green Drinks
4.4

For the Spring event we’re doing green drinks old-school style. Join us, [Greenups](https://greenups.au/), [Regen Sydney](https://www.regen.sydney/) and the [Pocket City Farms](https://www.pocketcityfarms.com.au/) crews, in the garden (the beer garden & the veggie patch), with the sun on our backs, dirt under the nails, beer in hand, for some casual, low-key, easy 'spring in the air' vibes. Spring is the time to prepare the soil, plant seeds, and tend to the young crops. So let’s get outside, reconnect, tend, nurture ourselves, find strength, and just have some fun! **Why** A lot of people in the broader Greenups community have had their shoulder to the wheel for years now - working on climate, nature, cities, food, energy and systems change - many, now experts in their fields. And a common refrain lately: “It’s hard.”... Frankly, many of the things we’ve fought for are not going the way we’d hoped, and we're all feeling the pressure. ...so it's often followed by “I’m exhausted.” So spring feels like a good moment as any to call a small time-out, to stop and smell the natives. **What to expect** In the spirit of the early Greenups: let’s just turn up, meet some good people, have a drink, swap ideas and see what grows. Old faces, new connections, good music, tasty food, feet on the ground, fun in the sun. And we'll have some facilitated networking activities to help break the ice - for those that want to. Zero “sage on a stage” vibes. Daylight saving will have just started. It’s the last week of the school holidays. It's a kid-friendly venue, and kids eat free at Camperdown Commons on Wednesdays! \* **Who** Pocket City Farms will show us around the farm, including a garden tour, and bring us up to date on their journey so far, and where to next. We’re inviting some of our Regen Sydney and Community Garden friends along too, with hopefully another special guest to announce soon. \* No, this not only for families, not at all. This will be a regular Greenups for grownups, but at a venue that is well suited to kids. So if you want to bring your 'young crops', please do!

Free to RSVP, 👉 $59 to confirm your spot [https://consciousconnectionsclub.com/join](https://consciousconnectionsclub.com/join) Relational Labs is a guided connection experience for singles who want more honest, playful, emotionally intelligent interaction — without performance, pressure, or endless small talk. This is not speed dating. Not networking. Not “pitch yourself to strangers.” It’s a facilitated relational container rooted in psychology, emotional intelligence, attachment work, social dynamics, nervous system awareness, and real-world human connection — made practical enough that you can actually live it instead of reading another 50 books about it. ## What happens • A 2-hour guided online relational experience • Real-time connection exercises designed to create authentic interaction • A format that adapts in real time to whoever is present • Optional participant-led in-person continuation afterward • WhatsApp connection thread after the session ## This may be for you if: • You’re tired of shallow or repetitive social spaces • You want deeper connection without forced intimacy • You enjoy personal growth, psychology, communication, or relational work • You’re open to meeting people in a more intentional way ## Important This experience runs with whoever is present and takes its own shape each time. Sometimes expansive. Sometimes intimate. Both are the real thing.
