🍽️ The Dinner Party Project: Secret Restaurant Series (Make New Friends!) **Escape the endless scrolling and build real-world connections** over incredible food. SlowDating.ca brings local foodies and connection-seekers together for an intimate, relaxed friendship networking experience. The concept is simple: **make new friends over dinner** while supporting great, locally owned businesses. Whether you are new to the city, looking to expand your social circle, or just want to break your weekday routine, you’re in the right place. *** 🥘 How It Works * **We Handle the Details:** You sign up, and we take care of the restaurant booking using platforms like OpenTable or Resy. * **Micro-Event Magic:** To keep conversations genuine and comfortable, each dinner is strictly capped at **4 to 6 people maximum**. No overwhelming crowds—just a small group of strangers ready to become friends. * **A New Spot Every Week:** We host our dinners at a different local restaurant each week. *Please note: the map pin on this event page is just a placeholder. We will email you the actual restaurant location ahead of the event!* * **Independent Curations:** These social dinners are organized independently by SlowDating.ca and are not directly affiliated with the venues. ✨ Why Join Us? Life gets busy, and finding a new community as an adult can be tough. We make it effortless to break out of your comfort zone. Our unique, low-pressure approach to connection was even featured in **Eventbrite’s 2025 TRNDS report** for leading the shift toward meaningful micro-events! 📝 Important Details to Note * **Pricing & Currency:** All ticket prices and transactions on our pages are processed in **$CAD**. * **Minimum Sign-ups:** To ensure everyone has a great social experience, we require a minimum number of attendees. If your selected night doesn't hit the minimum, we'll ask you to shift your booking to another night with a fuller table. ***
