From Eat Drink Dance (EDD)!

The Gist - 1. Please buy tickets yourself. I have links posted later in this post as well YouTube links to his more popular songs. 2. We will meet for dinner at 5pm. Please be on time. If you are going to be more than 5 minutes late, please post in the chat or message me. Many people flake to these events so in order to keep it moving we would like to know who is actually coming. 3. Please bring cash 4. HAVE FUN! We will meet at Drake's Dealership, a massive, repurposed historic auto shop featuring a giant heated outdoor beer garden with open fire pits, wood-fired pizzas, and 32 craft beers on tap. Everyone orders at the counter on their own individual tab, but we will sit together Epik High is a legendary South Korean hiphop/rap group. They were famously "rivals" with BigBang and a big influence on BTS. Here are some of their more famous songs: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSC47Yp-Hpg&list=RDoSC47Yp-Hpg&start_radio=1&pp=ygUaZXBpayBoaWdoIHlvdXR1YmUgdW1icmVsbGGgBwE%3D](Umbrella) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdr0fZbuffY&list=RDqdr0fZbuffY&start_radio=1&pp=ygUYZXBpayBoaWdoIGxvdmUgbG92ZSBsb3ZloAcB](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdr0fZbuffY&list=RDqdr0fZbuffY&start_radio=1&pp=ygUYZXBpayBoaWdoIGxvdmUgbG92ZSBsb3ZloAcB) You can buy tickets here: Gametime: [https://gametime.co/concert/epik-high-tickets/10-18-2026-oakland-ca-fox-theater/events/6a2761c005414ded043e7d08](https://gametime.co/concert/epik-high-tickets/10-18-2026-oakland-ca-fox-theater/events/6a2761c005414ded043e7d08) If you have any other suggestions, let me know and I’ll post it. Eat Drink Dance This is a new Meetup group trying to build a group of like-minded people who enjoy food music and community. The drinking is up to you. In this group I will find new music, make new friends, and have fun. So get out of the house and meet some new people! I will be picking shows around the Bay Area - anything from underground hip hop, R&B, EDM/Trance, and of course indie & alternative rock. We will pick a restaurant (within walking distance of the show) to meet at, have dinner and drinks (if you drink), then slam a Red Bull and walk to the venue. And if anyone wants, we can have a nightcap drink after to talk about the show. Sound Fun?? I am open to new artists and any suggestions. Ultimately I will pick whatever I like, but I started this group because I also love finding new music so I am easily convinced. But note I am trying to only pick shows that have a General Admission option so that we don’t need to get seats ahead of time and sit away from each other. FYI - this event organizer is unpaid..All participants are 100% responsible for their own safety!

Just some convivial folks hanging out at a neighborhood pub with their skechbooks. You don't have to be an "artist," or whatever that means, to be here. Bringing art supplies is a great idea though! Hydration is encouraged! The Flying Pig sells soft drinks and other n/a options as well as beer and cider.
We come up with a theme or prompt for each week. You're free to use it or ignore it. It's about inspiring to stray from the norm. Speaking of which, this week's theme/prompt is [TBA]

4.6

Welcome back San Francisco Green Drinkers!!! San Francisco Green Drinks is pleased to announce we are hosting our monthly **In-person Happy Hour Networking Event** on **Wednesday, October 21st**, at **Southern Pacific Brewing** \- a venue that should be familiar to our friends from Climatebase\, Work on Climate\, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area Climate Solutions Community\! Please note the change from Second Thursday to Third Wednesdays, both in October and going forward. Southern Pacific Brewing is located in a spacious warehouse in the Mission's industrial heart, that has been renovated into a bright and expansive brewery and restaurant complete with outdoor seating. It's about 6 blocks, or a 15-minute walk (less by bike!) from 16th Street Mission BART, so please plan ahead! Look for us at a table inside or in the Courtyard, depending on weather and crowds. Remember to bring your business cards, your positive attitude and your interest in discussing sustainability and climate change. Nametags will be available, but reusable ones are encouraged. Also, bring your cash or credit cards to pay for drinks. And be sure to tip our servers! As always, we encourage Green Drinkers to use public transportation, walk, bike or use some other form of low-carbon transportation to get to our event. If you need an escort to BART or Muni at the end of the night, feel free to ask one of our event volunteers! Look forward to seeing you there!! John Tripp President, San Francisco Green Drinks *** If you are interested in volunteering to help run SF Green Drinks, please reach out. I love hosting the event, but I'm always looking for volunteers, and I'd love to rebuild the leadership team! If your organization or someone you know is interested in sponsoring a SF Green Drinks Event, or you have an event space and would like to talk to us about hosting our event at your location, please contact me at: JohnPenfieldTripp@gmail.com The invite will be updated to include the specific date when the event is announced, usually about 1-2 weeks in advance, but we are always on the **Third Wednesday of the month**, unless announced otherwise. You can also leave a note here or on our Facebook Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/sfgreendrinks/) for the latest information.
