RE-SCHEDULED TO 10/11! Firm confirmation! 🙌🏾🙋🏾‍♀️ Hi Everyone! 👋🏾 Our last event was amazing!! 🌻🌸💐🤩 Let's talk about the next one. ✏️🗒 Another new venue for us! We'll be heading to Alexander Hamilton's only home called the Hamilton Grange National Memorial. Operated by the National Park Service, the house contains exhibits for visitors, as well as various spaces with restored 19th-century interiors. There will either be a ranger or a volunteer who will guide us throughout the house! It's a guided tour specifically for us that must start at 12:30pm sharp because there's a tour after us at 1:30pm. Please be on time! No tickets necessary, please just show up! Hope to see you there! 📺Our IG @NYCCONNECTS

Note different room - 503 (Fifth Floor) New location! Meeting at Berkeley College, 3 E. 43 St. in room 503. We are moving the start up up a bit to avoid running up against the building close time (21:00) and potentially allow for more socializing. We are one of few Toastmasters clubs in NYC offering in-person meetings and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity for in-person communication and networking. Interested in improving your public speaking skills? Want to meet new people and engage in interesting discussions? Hoping to make new business and life connections? If so we welcome you to attend the next Greenspeakers meeting. Greenspeakers is a Toastmasters club that was founded by Green Party members to provide a forum for engaged progressive activists and professionals to improve their public speaking skills. Guests of all political persuasions are welcome and we have no official connection to any political party. All attendees will have a chance to practice public speaking and will learn helpful tricks to become a more confident public speaker and communicator. Hope to see you there! Please note that our meetings require active listening and it's expected all in attendance will be respectful to each speaker by giving them your attention and refrain from making noise during speaking roles. Any who are disruptive or do not follow the behavioral guidelines of Toastmasters may be asked not to return.

From Social Striders Running Club
5.0

Grab your coffee, popcorn, wine and leave your worries-we're heading back to the office, 1980s style! You're cordially invited to a special screening of the quintessential workplace comedy, 9 to 5. Starring the legendary Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin, this classic film remains a sharp, hilarious, and incredibly stylish celebration of friendship and standing up for what's right. Whether you've seen it a hundred times or are experiencing the magic of Doralee, Judy, and Violet for the first time, it's the perfect excuse to get together and enjoy some big-screen nostalgia. Screening will be held at a private outdoor/indoor space. Bring a blanket, snacks and BYOB drinks as we celebrate this cinematic gem. It's going to be a "cup of ambition" kind of night, and love to see you there! Limited space so RSVP your spot. We can't wait to host you for an evening of laughter and legendary performances.
