THE CLOSET CLUB x ZUKA — Clothing Swap & Creative Meet-Up

THE CLOSET CLUB x ZUKA — Clothing Swap & Creative Meet-Up

Sun, Oct 25, 3:00 PM
From The Closet Club

THE CLOSET CLUB x ZUKA — Clothing Swap & Creative Meet-Up Got clothes in your wardrobe that you still like, but just don’t wear anymore? Bring them along and give them a new life. THE CLOSET CLUB is a clothing swap and creative meet-up — a relaxed Sunday for swapping clothes, discovering something new and meeting new people. You can bring up to 5 clean pieces in good condition — basically, anything you’d still happily give to a friend. We’ll have a quick look at everything when you arrive, and for every piece accepted you’ll receive a token to use at the swap. Don’t have anything to swap? No problem at all — you’re just as welcome to come along. You don’t need to bring clothes to be part of THE CLOSET CLUB. If you’d like to take something home from the swap, though, you’ll need a token from an accepted piece you brought with you. And the clothes are really just the beginning. I want THE CLOSET CLUB to be a place where creative people can meet naturally — models, photographers, designers, content creators, founders, freelancers and anyone who simply loves creating and connecting with new people. Come for a chat, share what you’re working on, exchange ideas or meet someone you might end up creating something with. Maybe it turns into a shoot, a collaboration, a new project — or simply a really good conversation. No awkward networking, no pressure. VIVI LY STYLING will also be there with styling ideas and inspiration, helping you see the pieces you find in a completely new way. Your €10 ticket includes a welcome drink. And since it’s Sunday, you can make an afternoon of it: ZUKA will be serving brunch, warm breakfast dishes, coffee, drinks and something sweet if you fancy it. Food and additional drinks can be ordered separately and aren’t included in the ticket. Come on your own or bring a friend. Bring clothes if you have some, come without if you don’t. Have a drink, meet some new people and spend your Sunday doing something a little different. Come for the clothes, stay for the people. 🤍

French Book Club — Encabanée by Gabrielle Filteau-Chiba

Thu, Oct 15, 5:00 PM
From Metis Book Clubs

Our French-language book club is back — and now it has a fixed home on the calendar: **every third Thursday of the month**. This one is held **in French**; here's what we're reading.

RSVP on Luma: https://luma.com/vf9j1csj Silent Reading / Creating Club is a gathering for people who enjoy focusing together in public. Bring a book, a notebook, a sketchpad, knitting needles, whatever you’d like to spend a quiet hour doing. All projects and all participants are welcome. We’re building a community of readers and creators who value depth, presence, and shared silence. The reading and creating isn't the real highlight, though, it’s in the people who return and make it feel like a familiar room. (Please RSVP “yes” only if you can make it, so we can save a seat for you and others on the waitlist.) Our Meeting Point is the **W66 Café**. There’s no entrance fee, but please order at least one item from the café and don’t bring outside food or drinks 🙂 No assignments, expectations, or pressure. Just a shared hour of intentional silence, followed by the opportunity for good conversation. 🕰 Our Agenda **10:30 – 11:00** Arrivals, ordering drinks/food, light social time **11:00 – 12:00** The Great Quiet Hour (Read. Write. Sketch. Code. Think. Tuesday Pool Night in Spandau — For Experienced Players

Tuesday Pool Night in Spandau — For Experienced Players

Tue, Oct 20, 4:59 PM
From Social Butterfly Club
4.6

## Do you play pool regularly, feel confident with the basics, and enjoy more challenging games with other skilled players? Then this Meetup is for you. ### What to expect * More challenging pool games with **experienced and skilled players**. * Rotating players to create different matchups and keep the games varied and interesting. * A friendly and relaxed atmosphere – having fun and enjoying the game together is still the main focus. * We start on time, so please arrive punctually so that we can organize the games properly. * We always play from **7:00 PM to 9:00 PM**. ### Who is this Meetup for? This Meetup is specifically intended for players who would describe themselves as **really good at pool**. You should know the basic rules confidently, play regularly, and be able to control the cue ball and object balls reasonably well and put together simple runs. You do not need to be a tournament player or a professional. However, the overall playing level should be clearly above that of a beginner or casual player. If you have only recently started playing pool or still need help with the basics, our regular **Tuesday Pool Night in Spandau — Beginners Welcome** is probably a better fit for you. ### Costs You pay for your own drinks and your share of the table costs directly at the venue at the end of the event. **I do not collect any money from you.** The exact table cost depends on the size of the group. Normally, the cost per person is **under €10 plus drinks**. If you would like to leave early, a flat fee of **€10** will be charged for your share of the table costs. You pay for your drinks separately at the bar. ### Registration Please only sign up through Meetup if you genuinely intend to attend. This helps me plan as reliably as possible how many tables we will need. We also have a **WhatsApp group** for last-minute changes and coordination around our pool Meetups. **If this is your first time joining us, I’ll be happy to add you to our WhatsApp group afterwards.**
